Südliche Waldstraße

Exclusive, yet welcoming

Südliche Waldstraße is the key street on the city’s local cultural scene. It is home to many insider tips for food, art and fashion, waiting for you to discover them.

The epitome of diversity, the shopping street unites chic sophistication with traditional retail stores and invites you to shop and kill time with its well-balanced mixture.

Along Südliche Waldstrasse, exclusive items meet everyday necessities – and complement one another perfectly. “Trading together for our customers” is the philosophy of the interest group for Südliche Waldstrasse. This is evidenced in late summer each year with the “Fest der Südlichen Waldstrasse” held here, which is particularly popular among visitors. Situated between Amalienstrasse and Sophienstrasse, you can also find some peace and quiet here, too. However, that does nothing to dampen the lively mood on Südlichen Waldstrasse, which is always decorated with colourful lights and Christmas lights during Advent; the street and its unique array of shops will leave no desires unfulfilled, even if they are on the extravagant side.
