Smallest Christmas market in Karlsruhe

The smallest and highest Christmas market in the fan-shaped city, called Winterzauber, is located in the Durlach district. High up on the Turmberg, the Christmas magic gets a very special flair.

The Turmberg is a wonderful excursion destination all year round. When the foliage starts to change colour in autumn and the days slowly become shorter, the view over the lights of the city is nothing if not romantic. The restaurant "Anders auf dem Turmberg", the spacious Hofbistro and the "Kuschel-Lounge" are decorated according to the seasons and illuminated by countless candle lights. From November onwards, the cosy "Schäferwagen" and the rustic "Bauwagen" in the little wood directly in front of the keep are not only a top location for a unique rendezvous, but also for your small Christmas parties.

The Hof-Bistronomie is also considered one of the most beautiful places to enjoy open-air in autumn and winter in Karlsruhe. The trendy Hofbistro offers small delicacies from the Turmberg kitchen all year round - magnificent sunsets included. In the yard and on the terraces there are many cosy corners with snuggly blankets and furs. There is almost no better place to enjoy mulled wine than along the long castle parapet. Add to that the Christmassy scents and sounds - and lots of gift ideas. "Anders auf dem Turmberg" is not only an ideal spot for a mulled wine with a special view but also a wonderful location for your Christmas party.
